I have over two decades helping to shape the marketing strategies for some of the world’s most beloved brands. After working for major brands such as Nike, BMW and RBC, I created my own marketing consulting firm. I have negotiated Olympic and celebrity sponsorship deals, launched BMW Canada’s Instagram and CRM initiatives, have helped agencies win new business pitches, crafted and implemented brand strategies for small and large businesses, and so much more.
I help strengthen relationships between brands and agencies as I believe in relationship therapy before filing for divorce. For smaller businesses that may not need or have the budget for external partners, I have often taken on some of the marcom duties, acting as an extension of the internal marketing team. I have also worked with several agencies to help position themselves in a light that improves their win rate in new business pitches.
Tapping into passions deeply rooted in my core, I have also spent 20 years in the health and wellness space as a certified fitness professional.
The Best Fit
I have worked with businesses of all sizes looking for strategic leadership and an extra pair of hands. Most of my clients have already been in business for 5+ years, but I have also done work for startups looking to build a brand from the ground up. That work often involves positioning work, go-to-market and media strategy, internal socialization and sell-in, etc.
Given my experience working across all elements of the marketing mix and with both brand and agency work, I easily mold into an extension of an organization’s marketing team to help at both a senior/macro strategic level as well as an executor/doer at a mid-level.
No matter the size, an organization with a clear mandate and articulation of challenges or problems to be solved have seen the most positive outcomes.
