Crystal R

Visual Communicator

Hi, I’m Crystal. Being part of this family dynamic has taught me how to listen to varying views, account for differing expectations, and bring people together by focusing on common goals. I started out as a graphic designer and over the last twenty-plus years, I have worked with clients to manage a variety of design projects.

Along the way I have been developing my own creative business, so the title ‘graphic designer’ doesn’t really resonate anymore. Descriptions like creative collaborator, design partner, and visual communicator align better. I can’t pick one, but I can tell you, I am that creative you can count on to get things done.

I work with organizations that adjust to the changes their industry throws at them by choosing to take the lead in their own story. They avoid, or at least question, the latest marketing trends, and instead create their own opportunities to account for social and technological changes. Resiliency in business and life is necessary for growth and staying relevant.

My creative mind doesn’t focus on sticking to what worked in the past, but instead on how we can translate skills and resources in new directions. So even though I started out focusing on print design, when the digital world evolved, I chose to evolve with it while still embracing the elements of print by marrying them with digital marketing and communication platforms.

The Best Fit

I work with medium sized businesses looking to grow, as well as organizations with a mission to create and service proactive and positive services that benefit the community. Whether the need is a corporate re-brand, creation of marketing materials on various platforms or publishers that require experienced print designers to create lasting publications, I work best when collaborating with the client directly. I work together with my clients to create visuals that meet their needs and provide my 26+ years of experience to advise them when things go sideways.
