I began working as a web developer in 1999 after completing a web developer diploma program at a private school in Ottawa and then landing my first full-time job for a company named McMillan in downtown Ottawa. After the company dismissed their web development team following the big "dot com" crash in 2000, I decided to continue doing the same kind of work in a freelance/contract setting. Then I moved to Vancouver in 2003 and continued the same kind of work, moving from freelance to full-time contract jobs while keeping up with trends such a PHP/MySQL apps, responsive web design, and also specializing in websites developed using the WordPress framework. When I am not working on some project, I spend my free time trying to keep in shape at the gym, going out for drinks with my friends, joining karaoke sessions at house parties, and entertaining with my 2 young daughters.
