Versatile and talented Shannon Eckstein has been working in visual media since the early 90’s. She is as much at ease working in a Tibetan Refugee Camp as she is photographing CEO’s of Major Corporations. As an award-winning internationally recognized photographer and photojournalist Shannon has travelled throughout the world creating storytelling images of NGO’s, exotic locations, intimate portraits and fascinating places. As a videographer, editor and producer she worked with the visually-impaired to create original content for Canadian broadcaster Accessible Media and her short films have been used as documentary-style branded content. Her natural ease, confidence and curiosity makes her a welcome collaborator. Currently based in Toronto, Canada - Shannon is always seeking creative and challenging editorial opportunities as a photographer and/or videographer producer. She is available for local, national and international assignments.
