I'm the owner and principal designer of designling & company. My passion for inspiring and functional spaces comes from a life-long obsession for all things design, earning an Interior Design Certificate from a design school in New York, and 10+ years of design experience.

Before launching designling & co, I was most recently honing my craft as Interior Design Manager at Ikea, where I furthered my love of designing spaces that were both livable and inspirational — at just about any style or budget — throughout the 47 room showroom while balancing the commercial design & visual merchandising needs of the store.

My favourite thing about designing spaces is creating a signature style for each client that reflects their own brand / individuality & functional needs. Surprising pops of colour, using existing items in new ways, and eco-conscious materials are just some of the elements I use in my designs to delight my clients.

Before launching my second career in interior design, I enjoyed a 15 year career in Marketing & Public Relations specializing in brand & reputation management. I currently live in a sweet little 1950s house in the trendy downtown of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, with my dog, Tulip.
